Very Special Donor -Marie Kerlin

“Three years ago, a friend invited me to the Spring Tea event hosted by Womanade.  I had no idea what Womanade was about.  In fact, I thought she said the group was Lemonade.  Thinking that was a fun name, I accepted.  Upon arrival, I was embarrassed because I didn’t know about the suggestion minimum donation and I had no money with me.  I slinked in under the radar, hoping no one would notice.  I drank delicious tea and ate lovely sandwiches.  When I returned home, I looked at the Womanade website and was excited to get involved.  The work Womanade does is remarkable and I am proud to be a part of it.”

Since that time, Marie has embraced the mission of Womanade.  She has sponsored multiple matching donation opportunities (often in honor of loved ones), given generous individual donations, attends many programs and provides excellent feedback and ideas to the Womanade Board leadership.
